Cornerstone Cabin is an extraordinary cabin. We used three 100 year old square log cabins to build it. The old cabins were tagged, disassembled, moved to the lake, and reassembled into one house under current building codes, with all the modern comforts of home. The lake house sits on 11 secluded, forested acres with no other houses in sight. It has magnificent craftmanship, and all the wood was either from old dwellings or custom-milled for the house. Cornerstone Cabin has a tin roof, making the rain's pitter-patter so soothing. Another unique feature is that it has a full 2nd story. Most cabins constructed with old square logs are 1.5 stories with a loft or knee walls upstairs. Cornerstone has lots of windows & 7 ceiling fans throughout the house so you can throw open the windows & enjoy the fresh air & wildlife sounds. For your sleeping comfort, there are hand-made wooden shutters throughout the house to darken the rooms. Cornerstone's upstairs has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 of which (queen & twin in each) have cathedral ceilings with exposed rafters. It's awesome to wake up slowly in the morning on vacation & gaze at the rugged old square logs, the old-timey chinking, & beautiful rafters (notched together the old-fashion way). The 3rd bedroom is also spacious & has 2 twin beds. The upstairs bath has full tub and shower. Starting from the ground up, there is stacked-stone foundation, chimney, & fireplace; then 3' X 9' floor joists for the 1st floor (exceeds any building codes, so the house is solid as a rock). The downstairs has custom-milled beams & includes bedroom (king), bathroom with shower, stack washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, indoor seating for 12 with dining room table (6), bar (2), & game table(4), hi-speed internet, & family room with satellite color TV, oversized fireplace, & sturdy antique staircase built in 1820. Opening from both family room and downstairs bedroom is a 10' x 20' aromatic cedar screened porch with ceiling fans and dining table for 6. This is our favorite spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and dining. There's a hummingbird feeder right beside the porch, and if you're quiet & still enough, you can enjoy watching them feed in the summertime. You feel like you are on top of the water!) Our dock is the perfect place to lay in the sun and enjoy the serene beauty or jump in the lake and go for a swim. We keep several noodles and floaties at the house with an electric pump. There is a ladder that makes it easy to get in and out of the lake. There is room to tie up your boat and/or jet skis. The marina is only 5 minutes away (by boat or car)! There is a large deck in the back of the house overlooking the lake with a large table and 8 chairs. There is also a propane grill for cooking out. The backyard has a fire pit to roast your hotdogs and marshmallows or you can just enjoy the fire with the gorgeous lake as a backdrop. The home has 3 floors: Loft Level - King Bed, closet, and bathroom with a large jetted tub. This bedroom is open and has incredibly gorgeous lake views. Main Floor - This floor has a large, open spacious kitchen and living room with a wall full of windows to view the lake. The windows are so high that you can even view the stars at night from the inside. The large dining table can seat 8 people. There is also a bar with 4 stools for even more seating. The kitchen has a small, yet cozy electric fireplace. The bedroom on this floor has a Queen Bed and a TV. There is a full bathroom on the main floor as well, right across the hall from the bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook delicious meals with plenty of counter space. Guest supply their own fishing gear. In addition, we provide an array of baby items to help minimize packing for those families with very small children. We provide 2 pack and plays, 1 baby bath tub, 1 high chair, 1 booster seat, 1 potty seat, 1 changing pad and 1 diaper pail. We also have an array of children’s books and some random toys. Beautiful Hyco Lake House, perfect for the whole family! This house is smack in the middle of Hyco Lake. It is fully furnished with all you need to have an amazing vacation! This 4 bedroom home is complete with 2 master bedrooms and on suites. One master on the first floor and one master on the second floor. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you will need to create those great lakeside meals. The view of Hyco from this lake house is incredible! The home features a very large deck on the back of the house complete with gas grill, 2 dining tables and a hot tub. As you make your way to the very large dock, you will pass a fire pit perfect for s'mores in the evening with the kiddos. The dock is the perfect addition as it boasts 2 boat slips and sliding board. The dock is complete with a television for all those Sunday evening races by the lake and a refrigerator and freezer for the cold beverages, microwave, water toys and more. And who can forget, the Jimmy Buffet frozen Margarita Blender and 2 person kayak! The swimming is great as there is plenty of water. Off the end of the dock we average 20 feet! Amazing den features stone fireplace extending two floors high with gas logs that can be used during the cool months. Views of the lake can be enjoyed from many relaxing spots on this property. There is a upper deck off of the sunroom, a lower deck and patio for grilling out, a firepit for evening relaxation, hammock chairs on the front porch of the house and a hammock in the gazebo overlooking the lake views. For your evening relaxation there is a hot tub on the stone patio overlooking the lake as well. My favorite area which includes both a sitting area and lounge chairs is located on the boat dock facing towards a beautiful long range view of the lake. This property combines the feel of both a mountain house and lake house combined into one! This unique property was constructed in 1974 and includes very unique features of its time! Tastefully decorated with high end Restoration Hardware sitting areas throughout! This was one of the original homes on this area of the lake! The house is approximately 4,000 square feet and is three stories. The lake house is set up as four bedrooms and includes 3 baths. The house has 2 refrigerators in the main kitchen and includes one a the boat house for convenience while spending time on the water. There is a gas grill at the house that can be used by our guests while grilling out. The open ceilings and custom wood features make this the perfect vacation home. The house is strategically placed on the property to overlook the beautiful views of the lake from both the house and boat dock. The water off the end of the dock is deep and great for swimming. This area of the lake is very private and is great for boating, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Two kayaks and two paddle boards are available for my guests while staying at the house. With a backyard of limitless lake life this is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beauties of Lake Hyco.

There are two dining room tables on the main floor, one in the eat-in area (8 people), one in the hybrid dining room (6 people), and a large table on the deck overlooking the water (8 people). The dock also has a smaller 4 person table. The house was designed with the water in mind! A large sunny deck overlooks the lake with a wrap-around porch upstairs to relax over food and drinks. There is a shaded porch downstairs if you want to get out of the sun. The bedroom/sleeping layout is as follows: Main floor - Master: Queen bed with private bathroom (with Pack & Play) Hybrid dining room: Can be set up as a bedroom with a day-bed and pull-out trundle or as a dining room. The boat rental will start and end right on the dock - can't get more convenient. We have negotiated a discount for our renters. We encourage you to rent the boat for your full stay. The boat is $325 a day or $1450 for a week. A week is considered 6 full-days. If you only rent for a single day on the weekend from May to September then the price is $375 for the day. Let us know if you're interested so we can plan for the additional logistics. Boat renters will receive an orientation and safety lesson from the team. Insurance requires that operators and passengers are listed and sign. NC law requires that operators born after Jan 1, 1988 must have a boaters education card from any state - you can take the NC course and get card free at boatus.org/northcarolina. Other things to note There is an additional pet cleaning fee ($150) when guests bring their pets. The lawn team comes on Thursdays. As a guest of ours, you have first dibs on renting the boat. however, you need to let us know as much in advance as you can so we can reserve the boat on your behalf. Hyco Lake Boat Rentals may come by to drop off the boat or pick it up during your stay if you are not renting it or are done renting. If this is the case, they will be respectful of your peace and privacy. Our neighborhood is modern with several homes on a quiet bend of the lake. Our neighbors are friendly but please be mindful and respectful of their peace and privacy. Also, do not speed and be careful on the road coming on. The roads are scenic but are windy! Our neighborhood does not permit 4-wheelers or ATVs. Use of the kayaks, paddle-boards, and other water toys is at guests' own risk and liability. The most adorable A-frame cottage on Hyco Lake! This waterfront property has everything your family needs to make memories to last a lifetime! A double slip boathouse and dock! Two bedrooms and a loft with two full beds! Renovated with new appliances, beds, furniture, quartz countertops, remodeled bathroom, and more! Enjoy the peace and tranquility on the property. The house is located on a unique bend of the lake that gets low boat traffic. There is little light pollution so the stars stand out! The back patio is comfortable and spacious. Great for coffee in the mornings and watching the sunset at night. Also, good for grilling and eating meals with a view! Feel free to use our kayak and stand-up paddleboard. A high-end firepit was recently installed. There are steps from the deck that lead directly to the firepit. A new half bathroom was also added as well as a pathway that makes for an easier walk to the dock. An outdoor shower was built in May 2021 and is on the deck right off the living room / main patio area. Each bedroom as well as the living room has a Roku TV. We installed Starlink internet in May 2021. We have receivers in the house and on the dock. Guest can use all of the space including the dock! Dock your boat and stay the night! Don't have a boat? Or don't want to haul it all the way to the lake? Don't worry! We will help you coordinate a boat rental. We have partnered with the local boat rental company (Hyco Lake Boat Rentals) to provide our guests with a convenient, safe, and enjoyable boat rental option. Hidden Haven is close to Virginia International Raceway, Hyco Marina, Jibtopia, Tunnel Creek Vineyards, Roxboro Country Club, and other area attractions. The neighborhood has a gravel road that is scenic and great for walks. Please be careful and drive slowly. There are often kids playing on the street.

The Hangout’s unique layout provides the perfect gathering place for multiple friends and families to comfortably share Hyco Lake together. The main house offers 1,675 square foot of space with a master bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, a cot and two additional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The second house, called the 'Hut', is connected by the breezeway and provides an additional 550 square feet of space to gather during the day but offers two sets of bunk beds, a day bed, a sleeper sofa and a bathroom for additional guests. Between these two spaces, there is a 700 sqft breezeway with covered outdoor seating that overlooks the lake. Altogether, this spacious 2,225 square feet can easily sleep 10 comfortably on beds with an additional day bed, sleeper sofa, trundle, and cot to accommodate another 4-6 guests. In June 2021 we remodeled almost every aspect of the home starting with the kitchens and bathrooms and down to the door hinges and outlet covers. Every design decision was based on what would provide our guests the best possible experience. We brightened up the home with new lighting, painting, and opened up the home anyway we could. The home was designed by remote workers to be for remote work. Along with high-speed internet (only a few homes on the lake have this fast of the internet), 3 bedrooms have private desks and there is plenty of room in the common areas to work. We brought in high-quality furniture that is both comfortable and stylish. We upgraded to the best possible internet (speeds up to 1000 Mbit/sec). The main master has an attached private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and jacuzzi tub. There is a desk in the master, a 42" tv, and a large walk-in closet. The second master that we call the "auxiliary master" has a king bed, a reading nook, and an attached bathroom that has a shower tub. The main area has a remodeled kitchen and island with 4 bar stools. The 6 person dining room table is right off the island The main floor is attached to the garage. For the time being, guests are not permitted to use the garage. Each upstairs bedroom and the main area have both sheer and black-out curtains. Both master bedrooms, as well as the living space, have easy sliding door access to the spacious back deck. The back deck has a covered patio with a 6 person table. Right off the back deck is the grilling patio with a grill. The downstairs area was made to entertain. There is a pool table as well as a large tv area with a sectional couch and 55" tv. The basement bathroom is right off of this area. Four bedrooms surround the downstairs living area. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds. Two of them have a desk. Two of them also have sliding doors that walk out to the basement patio and have sheer as well as black-out curtains. The fourth bedroom has a bunk-bed with a full on the bottom and twin bed on the top. There are also two chairs that can be pulled out and turned into queen beds. Below is a summary of the sleeping arrangements. The dock area has a newly renovated bar area with four bar stools, a mini-fridge, and a tv. We provide 2 paddle-boards with paddles. We have four adult life jackets and a safety flotation device. However, we recommend that guests bring their own life jackets for the time being. We will be buying more over time as well as more toys for water activities. The home is a straight-shot from both Roxboro (15-20) minutes away) and Danville (about 20-25 mins). Both of which have several restaurant and grocery store options. Hyco Lake is close to the triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill). The road leading to the house is completely paved (this is a rarity on Hyco). Some things to note: Do not use the boat lifts. There is a large empty slip that is available for guests to bring their boat. We are also happy to coordinate rentals on behalf of our guests. We have a partnership with Hyco Lake Boat Rentals. They can deliver and pick up directly from the dock. While we don’t require you to start a load of towels, it really helps us out because of the Covid timing restrictions, and it may let the next guests check-in early. There is a large slip that is open for guests to bring their own boat. Do not attempt using any of the boat or jet-ski lifts! No wet bathing suits on the furniture! Please do not sit on tables or sinks. Smoking indoors of any kind will result in a $500 fine. Our cleaners are human beings, too. Please take pity :). Extra cleaning fees may be charged if the home is left in an unacceptable and messy state. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilets. Any plumbing damage costs will be fined towards the guest. Do not set the thermostats lower than 70 degrees, or it may freeze and disable the HVAC system, resulting in a fee.

The Space: Pull across the covered bridge into your parking area; Enter the home via keypad on the downstairs door. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on main level. Expansive downstairs entertainment space with bunk bed and half bath. There is no internet connection and limited cell service, but that doesn't mean there's not plenty to entertain you! The downstairs area has a DVD player and lots of DVDs, a plush couch and loveseat for movie nights. You can also access the screened porch with 4 comfortable outdoor chairs to enjoy the lake view and cross breezes. Walking up the open stairwell you'll enter the main area of the home with bucoos of windows to enjoy the gorgeous water view from the treetops. A private walkout balcony from the living room overlooks the lake below. A separate expansive deck with outdoor dining area is accessible off the kitchen. The builder incorporated unique salvaged elements that you'll find throughout the house and are part of what make it unique. There is a record player and classic records, a brand new top grain leather sectional sofa perfect for cozying up with a book or for a long conversation. The large open room has arched ceilings, and an open concept feel. The kitchen features gorgeous granite countertops, beautiful locally harvested white ash open shelving, and a dine-in island with seating for 6. You can access the laundry room from the great room, and walk down a hallway to the bedrooms. There are two airy bedrooms, each with lofted ceilings, screens on the windows, and ceilings fans. The queen beds with canopy frames are comfortable and plush, and each room is set up with a mirror and makeup area. The master suite features a full bathroom with tub/shower and modern floating shelf sink. The guest bath just outside both bedrooms offers a shower. From the house you can take the walking path down to the water. It's a bit steep so be sure to bring good shoes. There is an open shoreline with smooth slope into the water- perfect for relaxing by the water or playing in the shallows. The private cove is a wonderful place to fish or swim and avoid boat traffic. The water gradually increases in depth up to about 10' deep in the cove. The lake is a reservoir so speed boats are discouraged; it's generally very quiet on weekdays; while there are more activities on the main lake during the weekend it is still minimal compared to most lakes as only owners and renters area allowed access to the lake. We frequently are delighted to find that we are the lone boat on the water. Guest Access: Enter via the Covered Bridge. It's narrow so please go slow. Keypad on Basement Door to enter home. The Neighborhood: Neighbors are primarily feathered, finned or furry. There are other lakefront homes that are mostly second homes. The lake is private to homeowners and renters only. Please be respectful of noise as it carries on the lake. Getting Around: You'll need a car to get here (or Lyft / Uber). Other Things to Note: This is a natural setting; you may encounter wildlife, snakes or bugs; please leave them alone and they will tend to do the same. Please do not throw debris or food scraps on the ground. This attracts unwanted pests, and sullies the enjoyment for future guests. Interaction with Guests: We encourage you to make yourself at home! Home at Oxford park has three rooms available for rent, guests can rent the single room also, the owner will be staying at the property occasionally. The kitchen, dinning area, breakfast area and furnished porch are available for the guest to use. The car parking will be towards the front of the house or the property. The swimming pool will also be available for use with a $ 6/- extra payment to the management of the property. Reservation over four guests, each additional guest will be charged $25/-

Adorable 3 bedroom cottage situated on Little River Lake. Enjoy this peaceful and serene setting while still being close enough to the city to enjoy all of the local restaurants and attractions. We are situated just minutes from Treyburn Country Club and only 9.7 miles from Duke East Campus. This is the perfect place to get away and relax or meet up with family for a vacation. The cottage has 2 full bathrooms as well as a wood stove to stay cozy in the winter. A charcoal grill and a hammock are on the back deck so you can cook and relax while looking at the sun glisten on the water. Dogs allowed (2 max). Dog fee $50.

Located on Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm the home of Botanist & Barrel Cider + Winery. The farm boasts several ponds a 4 acres u-pick farm (open from late June to August). The cabin is completely private and overlooks a small 3 year old apple orchard. The farm has a few walking trails and lots of beautiful scenery. The winery offers tours on Thursdays and Fridays and every other Sunday. All guests will receive a complimentary flight in the Tasting Room.

Posted 3/15/19: NEWLY REMODELED BATHROOMS! We don't even have photos yet as it's still not finished, but as soon as we have photos we will post them! Plan a weekend or a whole week for your family to share a cozy family home right on Kerr Lake. Once you are here you forget all about the daily grind and really feel like you are hours away from it all! The view from the back of the wrap-around porch is gorgeous, with a large grassy area for playing/grilling/games, and the lake and private boat dock are in plain view. The dock is very large for plenty of chairs to sit and fish or just enjoy the sun, or bring your boat or kayaks to explore the waters - the dock can fit at least three water crafts^ (please read further below). The location is perfect for a quick trip from Raleigh/Durham - only 1 hour from North Raleigh or Durham (up to 1.5 hrs from S.Raleigh) the home is located just past Townsville NC close to the VA border, which is nice considering most of the lake is in Virginia which would take a lot longer to get to. It is also very close to a boat ramp (Ivy Hill ramp, less than 10 mins), good for anyone bringing a boat or coming for fishing, and the location on the lake is ideal because you are not on the 'main' open water so it is very quiet and peaceful, but 1 minute on a boat around a corner and you are on the open water for skiing or sightseeing. This is a SELF-CLEAN ACCOMODATION!^^ (please read further details below). The kitchen has all the amenities you need and features a large island with 4 bar stools - nice for entertaining. There is also a dining table for more seating, and the kitchen and dining are open to the living room with TV, cable/internet^^^ (please read further below), DVDs, board games and a bocce ball set for your use. There are three bedrooms - two with queen beds, and one with 2 twin beds - each bedroom can sleep two comfortably, and two full baths. Gas grill for your use as well (please clean after use! and please let us know asap if fuel runs out). WE NO LONGER PROVIDE ANY LINENS OR TOWELS unless you inquire about renting them. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN! There are two queen beds and two twin beds. We also welcome any inquires regarding longer-term rentals, such as several months at a time, during fall, winter or spring (not during summer). ^Notice about dock: Kerr Lake's water level changes all the time because it feeds Lake Gaston, whose level must remain constant. So the dock location may not be optimal at times. Due to heavy rains or drought situations the water level may fluctuate rapidly, which means the ramp may be out in the water and unreachable without walking through some water first. This is common in winter months but can go into spring. And in summer it can be common for the water to be very low and the dock to become partially beached. We will constantly try to keep it corrected as much as we can, but can never guarantee the location, meaning we cannot refund trips due to imperfect dock position. We also ask for renters NOT to adjust it themselves because our property manager stays on top of the forecast and has a strategy for preparing for water level changes that keep it from getting beached (which is near impossible to fix because our dock is so big and heavy). Thank you for understanding! ^^ This is a SELF-CLEAN accommodation. Due to the location of the property and it being remote, we do not have the cleaning options that other rentals properties may have (we often can't even get cleaning people out here at all, much less on very short notice). During the busier summer months when there are back-to-back rentals we especially need to rely on our renters to do a VERY thorough cleaning job, as there are only 4-hour windows between rentals. We do this to try to maximize everyone's time at the home, but we just ask for awareness and courtesy about this. Due to this we REQUIRE you bring your own linens, that way clean-up time is a lot shorter on the morning of check-out because you don't have to wait for load(s) of laundry to be finished and dried properly. If you know you will not be able to clean thoroughly for ANY reason, please let us know ASAP so that we can try to make arrangements accordingly. Thank you for understanding!! ^^^ As a warning learned from guests in the past, please do NOT come here if you plan on just watching TV or using the internet all day, or if you will be here on business and need to rely 100% on having internet service. As stated further in the "amenities" section, we DO have satellite TV and internet service, however due to being in such a remote location it has outage problems from time to time, and the data package is very small for the internet so it gets used up very quickly each month and we can only buy a certain extra amount maximum per month. We hate this as much as you do because it takes a lot of our time to try to correct this all the time (on the phone with the provider, arranging someone to meet them there in a 4-hour-window, etc, etc), but we do try our hardest to have it there for at least checking emails and watching a few shows while you're there. So this is our official fine print that the service is unreliable and there will be NO compensation for outages. We do research every year if there are any better provider options that we can try to improve this. Thanks for understanding!!

Linwood’s cabin is a lovely 1200 sf lake front* property on Kerr Lake in Henderson, NC. There is a private path to walk the 200 feet to the lake. Mill Creek is a quiet, no-wake zone cove. Excellent for fishing, swimming, kayaking (2 available to use), paddle boarding (byo), etc. Ivy Hill boat ramp is a 10-min boat ride from the dock where you can park your boat for the duration of your stay. *The USACE owns 200 feet from the shoreline to the boundary zone of the property. There are 3 bedrooms - 2 with double beds, the master has a king bed. The master bedroom has a full bathroom and there's another full bathroom for sharing. There’s an added on, enclosed porch that can sleep two more as well as a pull-out sofa in the living making for a comfortable 10. The kitchen is equipped with al the necessities including coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. There’s also a washer and dryer for your use free of charge. If you prefer to grill out, there is a charcoal grill with grilling utensils and your choice of charcoal or woodchips. There are 2 TV’s – each with a Roku. The cabin is equipped with WiFi and you are welcome to log into your own streaming service. You have access to the entire cabin! You have access to the dock as well. Occasionally others share the dock but you will always be able to park at least one boat for the duration of your stay.

We have a lovely floating cabin with 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom and 1 loft), 1 bath, full kitchen, dining table, living room, front porch, and an upper deck balcony located conveniently near the front of the dock in Steele Creek Marina. We are located in a little slice of paradise on Kerr Lake. The area is peaceful and offers a serene atmosphere. Walking trails are throughout the property. There is plenty of wildlife to see from blue herons, a variety of ducks, catfish and turtles to feed, many deer, geese, etc. A gazebo with a fire pit is nearby. This property is rented as a floating cabin only and stays docked at all times during rental. Other rentals available on location are pontoon boats, paddle boards, and kayaks (single and tandem).

Since our 2,900 sf "owners quarters" are completely private from the 4,100 sf guest space you typically will not see us unless we are cleaning the pool for you or emptying the outdoor trash cans for you or building a fire in the fire pit for you unless you call or text us and let us know you want to see us. We are very friendly and sociable but always assume folks are renting here in the country to be able to get away from everything and decompress and enjoy nature so we fade into the background and let you enjoy both the “outer space” of nature outdoors on the farm and the incredibly beautiful “inner space” we have created for you to retreat to when you want to be indoors. Prepare to be "wowed" when you enter your accommodations. No expense has been spared in creating a one-of-a-kind home. We are design-build professionals and it shows. The open-concept kitchen and dining area has lots of glass and expansive views out across the pool and pastures and private lake. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to linger and prepare meals that are a labor of love or just pop something quick in the microwave or oven. The island with its bar stools and and an open concept dining area with a table that seats 8 provide seating for 11 to 12 with another table in a nearby living area providing seating for another 4 and outdoor poolside or screen porch dining adjoins the kitchen area. The informal living area has a sectional Italian leather and fabric L-shaped sectional sofa and comfy chairs and a game table as well as a large media room for guests that has a 70" state of the art Samsung QLED TV for Netflix and Prime etc. Each bedroom is both unique and exceptionally well appointed and has black out shades and its own private bathroom. All of the floors in the guest space are hardwood except for bath floors which are all tile. The home is exceptionally pet friendly for WELL-BEHAVED 100% house-trained dogs only.The overly large pool area has plenty of grass for your pets to enjoy being outdoors in a secure area. Due to cat allergies we do not accept cats. There is a $50 pet fee per dog payable upon arrival and you are responsible for damages if your dog damages anything. We often get inquiries from people who want to exceed our stated maximum number of 13 guests. We are not an event center and we are not a "party house" and if you make a reservation you need to honor our house rules of no more than 13 guests. ANY exceptions to this "Maximum of 13 guests on premises" policy must be given by us to you in writing and exceptions will only be made on a case by case basis based on how many addional guests would be on premises and for what duration. There will be NO exceptions to the maximum number 13 of guests being INSIDE the home but on a case by case basis there may be written exceptions granted for extra folks coming over during the day for a limited amount of time for a FAMILY oriented event like a family reunion or a birthday party OUTSIDE the home. Once again, 13 is the maximum capacity INSIDE the home and any exceeding of the same 13 outside must be approved in advance IN WRITING by text or email. These rules are in place to prevent our farm from becoming an event center or to prevent it from hosting large parties. Please read our Rules and Policies on this site since by submitting a reservation request you are agreeing to abide by them. Please also do an online search for the North Carolina VACATION RENTAL ACT since by submitting a reservation request you are agreeing to abide by those statutory rules and regulations, one of which allows us to immediately evict any renters who damage the property or violate the noise ordinance for Orange County. It is also important to know and understand and agree that all alcohol must be used RESPONSIBLY and that you will take good care of and not damage our home. I mention alcohol specifically because in the past we have had two instances of groups of guests not drinking responsibly and damaging our property so we are much more careful now in screening our guests and being very clear and upfront with everyone making a reservation that ALCOHOL NEEDS TO BE USED RESPONSBILY if anyone in your group drinks alcohol. Believe me, I have nothing against alcohol since one of the companies that I own is a BREWERY:-).
